What is your Passion?

Passion is a word so often touted out in many conversations these days and as I reflect on it asking myself what is my "passion" ..but what is your passion? I'm asked, having even been told ""you have no real passion" horrified I searched deeper within.. Yes I love teaching, music, church life and people, hobbies and the like but my lasting drive ? My kids. Being a Mum is the very best part of me and I state this unashamedly. Now they are grown and living independently but the passion remains, to see them happy, healthy and making their journey of life successfully what ever they see that to be.  This is a shout out to all the passionate Mum.... you rock! Sometimes I feel a more accurate question would be what drives/motivates you to action? What is at your core? In Network Marketing ask what is your WHY? This can not only drive and motivate us but change us considerably throughout our journey of life. This photo speaks of a huge moment in our li...
To Be or Not to Be... Everyone has heard this quote at some time or another...today I'm looking at it in a completely different light. Change and success, what is blocking me from going forward? What is one of the major resistance points? Yes, I want the change, yes I want to success going forward BUT..   then up comes up the immediate and inexhaustible list of  excuses that are feasible and convincing. You no doubt have your own list the brain has stored up saved and flashes up when ever needed. Enter PROCRASTINATION  in all its glory. Well whether its based in fear or stress which are both real and debilitating, procrastination robs me of my ability to get started  or progress  IF I LET IT.   So how do I get past this ingrained brain response.. how do I stop kangrooing from decision to action? First I make a leap of faith, decision made .. now its time to DO something Linda, I like Mel Robbins statement micro action... daily!! For ...

Reduced, Undone, Brought to Your Knees and made to an Heir!

What brings you to these points in your life? What belief, experience or reality strikes a chord that brings such a strong passionate response from deep within? Its is a few days to Christmas and its been a gentle contented preparation for me, tinged with a sad longing to see my girls who are pursuing their lives away from Africa and Zimbabwe the land of our birth..There is nothing quite like the African sky, whether its the menacing storm clouds accompanied by the music of the crickets and bugs and percussive shouts of thunder, rhythmic patterns of rain, adorned with pyrotechnic displays of lightening; the splendid canopy of star over the houseboats on Kariba;     the crisp clear azure sky of winter days or sunrise/sunset              that make you hold your breath in awe...                       ...
No I have not forgotten this blog is about Online business adventure as well.  With all the changes in my life this has definitely taken a back shelf however, its again down but not out..... Time to get back on the horse me thinks. So much excitement, debate about Bitcoin and and cryptocurrencies and their  potential for great success or a biggest bubble out there about to burst is another opinion I have heard. Which companies are legit?? How are some making a mint in this new cryptocurrency thing and others being taken to the cleaners? Is it the new or next progression in payment or trade..i.e from barter to roman coins to paper money to crypto??  from a couple of hundred dollars to 15000.00 per coin  does make one take notice.. What do YOU think? Boom or Bubble?  Free Pictures by Pixabay

Down but Not Out

Oh my word , how long has it been !! My life has taken some amazing bends and changes some expected some came like a smack in the back of the head but I find myself having been Down but Not Out...ready for the new season, new beginning, new adventures. No doubt this is not a unique situation, just to me. There is a wonder and child like anticipation of something good about to open, holding hands with the future, nervous trembling inside... the unknown.. tentatively wandering round an unexplored, uncharted woodland. Listening to natures musical conversations, breathing and smelling new scents... watching light shinning, inviting one to peek into quiet hidden areas of beauty or take an unknown path. Be courageous, risk falling, failing, flailing or flying in a totally new venture. So stand still, do the known sensible thing or venture out is the question. One aspect, the most recent in fact is the New Zimbabwe as the phrase is being coined. The exhilaration of braving a potentially cat...

Communication.  One of the most valuable skills in life, something to be valued; obtained; developed and constantly used.   I find it facinating, that a very large percentage  of what is communicated is non verbal. All our senses are involved. What we see in body language of another, or what they see in our body language; tone of voice; silences; what we look like; how present we are in a conversation; focus and listening is a huge one and so is the emotional output and response to each other and I'm sure so much more   Transmitting, one being to another. How aware we should be of what we are communicating! Not out of fear, but rather, I think, out of awareness of the content and it being positive, uplifting, productive and the like. We have an inbuilt ability to filter this information, hone the skill of listening to our inner self, as well as the unspoken words of the other person. Listening and really hearing. Just like learn...

What is stopping you? Opportunity Knocks

Troutbeck Nyanga,Zimbabwe I find there are moments in life when we are presented with a new direction, exciting and filled with great opportunities. It stirs the heart and demands a response. It evokes excitement, nervousness, maybe even re-ignites the child in us, who wants to rush in head first. Drop what you are doing and spontaneously follow your heart... yes/no? What do we do? In most cases, rightly we weigh it up, look at the opportunity, the practicalities and financial implication, the impact on family and work etc. Making the informed decision, planned and well executed, this we are taught results in success. Yes, in most cases this is very true and is definitely the route to take. However, there are times when taking our courage by the throat and just do it,let life open door never thought possible. A step of faith into a God given opportunity. My young couple packed up bought a car and caravan and set off to experience work and travel round Australia, you go guys;...
