What is stopping you? Opportunity Knocks

I find there are moments in life when we are presented with a new direction, exciting and filled with great opportunities. It stirs the heart and demands a response. It evokes excitement, nervousness, maybe even re-ignites the child in us, who wants to rush in head first. Drop what you are doing and spontaneously follow your heart... yes/no?

What do we do? In most cases, rightly we weigh it up, look at the opportunity, the practicalities and financial implication, the impact on family and work etc. Making the informed decision, planned and well executed, this we are taught results in success. Yes, in most cases this is very true and is definitely the route to take. However, there are times when taking our courage by the throat and just do it,let life open door never thought possible. A step of faith into a God given opportunity.

My young couple packed up bought a car and caravan and set off to experience work and travel round Australia, you go guys; a dear friend who takes a stirring from God and comes to Africa ends running an orphanage; cousins who trave,l shoe string style and see the world and their lives are changed forever. What am I prepared to respond to when the opportunity presents itself? In life, in love, in work, in relationships ...

    no regrets.. thats how i look at it! What do I think I will feel about the decision in time to come. If it crashes and burns so what, you probably learn more from it :)

So back to the Online Journey...

Yes back to the online stuff.  I have made contacts and started building relationships with the group of Internet Marketers. Slow and steady wins the race without a doubt.   It is vital to build a list of subscribers and it has required and will still require much reading, understanding and as Janet says "take action". Lead capture pages, advertising,... send traffic to this important page . Whilst I feel slow and experience some frustration in not understanding the IT side, it is exciting to be on the student side of learning again and each step forward is an achievement and forward motion to my goals. I remember being taught regarding prayer there are two sorts of prayer answers 1. rockets... they arrive BANG there the answer is. 2.Tortoises... they set out bring your answer but you must wait.  If you give up you sent the tortoise      back!!  you pray again and it sets out again... I was horrified at the concept of losing God...

Online...Intouch...

Communication.  One of the most valuable skills in life, something to be valued; obtained; developed and constantly used.   I find it facinating, that a very large percentage  of what is communicated is non verbal. All our senses are involved. What we see in body language of another, or what they see in our body language; tone of voice; silences; what we look like; how present we are in a conversation; focus and listening is a huge one and so is the emotional output and response to each other and I'm sure so much more   Transmitting, one being to another. How aware we should be of what we are communicating! Not out of fear, but rather, I think, out of awareness of the content and it being positive, uplifting, productive and the like. We have an inbuilt ability to filter this information, hone the skill of listening to our inner self, as well as the unspoken words of the other person. Listening and really hearing.
